My practice offers a safe, confidential, and non-judgmental space where clients can explore concerns or challenges that may be limiting their growth. I encourage you to approach this process with openness, and to consider new ways of thinking, feeling, and relating to yourself and others.
My aim is to help you gain clarity about the underlying causes of issues and determine strategies for coping and moving forward.

How can I help?
I work with young adults, adults, and couples across a range of life stages and experiences ... on a short-term, focused or goal-oriented basis, or within a longer-term, open-ended therapeutic relationship that supports deeper exploration of personal challenges.
I offer therapy and support across a range of concerns, including anxiety and depression, behavioural difficulties, couples work, and the impacts of sexual abuse. I also support clients with self-esteem, social confidence and connection, managing overwhelming emotions, and navigating grief and loss.
My work extends to trauma, workplace challenges, family and relationship difficulties, and building resilience. I take a practical, plain-speaking approach, focusing on what is useful, workable, and meaningful in your day-to-day life.

I can provide counselling and support for ...

Philosophy
I believe in the value of therapy for young people, adults, families, and couples, and the meaningful change it can support.
My approach is grounded in honesty, kindness, creativity, and perspective. I draw on a range of evidence-based modalities, including, but not limited to - Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT), Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT, including for trauma), and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for couples.
I also draw on creative approaches where appropriate, tailoring the process to each client’s needs. Therapy is a collaborative endeavour, centred on identifying practical and meaningful pathways forward.
